I'm Stacey, the founder and creator behind Astoria Live. I moved to Astoria ten years ago and fell in love with the vibrant, creative, multicultural, and fun community here.

I started Astoria Live in 2016 to bring together all the amazing local events, groups, and happenings in one place through this website, Instagram, and a weekly email newsletter.

 

My goal is to make it easier for Astorians to connect in real life and support the small businesses, artists, and organizations that make our neighborhood special.

Astoria Live aims to:

• Foster community connection by sharing local events and groups

• Support neighborhood businesses, creators, artists, and nonprofits

• Share information about local elections and news that impacts our neighborhood

When I'm not sharing posts to the Astoria Live Instagram and wandering the neighborhood, you can find me volunteering with the 31st Ave Open Street, and working as a Product Design Lead.
